Friday, May 24

7:30 - 10:00 PM

Amelia Browning, Vocalist
With one listen to the smoky tones of Amelia Browning, balanced between tradition and improvisation, sweetness and sass, you'll be hooked. Harry Williams says of Browning, "She brings something fresh to the scene. Her sweet tone and artful phrasing add new sauce to those familiar tunes, new and old. According to Linda Vickerman, Browning has a "sure sense of classic jazz phrasing," so whether she's singing more obscure tunes or paying tribute to the masters with her renditions of classic jazz standards, Browning takes you on a journey with each song.

5/31 Dave Scott, Trombone and Vocals
Trombonist and vocalist Dave Scott, KUSI-TVs’ popular weather man, bought his first trombone when he was 12 years old. While in junior high he won a scholarship for lessons with the principal trombonist of the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra. But Urbie Green records prevailed and Dave joined the jazz world.
